ETS has been widely recognised and honoured for the work that it has done in enhancing education and learning all over the world. Some of the awards that we received in 2005 for our efforts were:
Excellence in Diversity Award, February 2005 Given by the Human Resources Management Association of Princeton for the company’s commitment to diversity in the workplace.
Beacon of Safety Award, April 2005 Given by the New Jersey State Safety Council at the MidAtlantic Region Safety & Loss Control Expo for consistently keeping its employees safe.
Telly Award, June 2005 ETS was a bronze finalist in the political issue/campaign advertising category for its 30-second commercial called “Prepared for Life.”
Education Software Review Award, August 2005 Given by ComputEd Gazette to software publishers who provide innovative and content-rich technology that fosters educational excellence.
CIO Bold 100 Award, August 2005 Given by CIO magazine recognising ETS’ “bold” new TOEFL® iBT test.
EPA’s Best Workplaces for CommutersSM list, September 2005 Established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation recognising employers whose commuter benefits reach the National Standard of Excellence.
The Arc Mercer, September 2005 An association for people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. The award recognised ETS’ longstanding relationship with Arc Enterprises.
Pacesetter Award, October 2005 Special recognition given by the American Red Cross for excellence in supporting the community’s patients through ETS’ blood drive sponsorship.
2005 Award of Excellence, October 2005 ETS’s CriterionSM service has won an award from Technology & Learning magazine. The award recognises innovative curriculum products.
Codie Award for Best Instructional Solution for English Language Acquisition, May 2006. Awarded by the Software and Information Industry Association to the Criterion Online Writing Evaluation Service.
